Bale. Could we? Would we? Should we?

We need to get this to 100 pages.
I think he'd be perfect for Mourinho's "defend and counter attack, attacking players make it up on your own, we aren't doing any training on attacking patterns of play" style.
Similar to AVB's keep it tight don't do anything silly and wait for Bale to win it for us style.
 
I woke up at 5 this morning, had to take a tinkle, started thinking about us maybe getting Bale back and couldn't fall back asleep again. Can't get my head around this, keep thinking about it. Seems too good to be true, but also like it actually might happen. Trying to convince myself that I'm expecting something to go tits up, but then again I actually think it'll happen now, which will eventually make it that much worse if it doesn't materialise. :p

Not sure we are going to defend and counter from watching the everton game. Even at 0-1 down we were so pathetic with no ideas without Gio, that it actually made sense to go very deep and defensive and play on the counter.

Yet mou didnt do it and I think that says a lot as surely doing that would have increased our chances of scoring ten fold - see leicester at home not long ago.

I think it suggests he has decided that he doesnt want to do that with us long term. Whether thats the correct decision time will tell but can see why once Gio is back in the team.

he will counter with the players he will have
From deep he has players who can get to the other end with the ball so quickly

I don't know that he can how that the squad lists have been submitted for the season. I imagine it'll be 9 or 14. Or perhaps the reason Rose wasn't given 3 was this all along, although I'd imagine Reguilon will take 3.
