As opposed to Ramos who played King only in UEFA Cup games when we were struggling in the league and needed our best defender.
Does Ramos's decision being wrong make the other wrong decision any more right?

I don't believe he did run him into the ground. He started 20. 6 and 21 league games respectively in Redknapp's 3 full seasons and only 3 CL games out of 12. I know you mildly dislike Redknapp, but are you seriously blaming him King's chronic knee condition leading to his early retirement? Every Spurs fan screamed for him to start every game he was fit for.
So why did he want to leave then? More to the point, why did he f**k off TWO half-seasons in a row?
Let's start there if we're going to lurch back into this debate.
As for AVB and Bale (not aimed at you this one mate, just generally as I don't want to post twice in a row) it was clear at the time that Bale had received some excellent coaching from AVB who, shorn of our playmaker for the past 3 seasons needed to make use of his world class talent (one). The few of us who said it were ridiculed (probably by the same people who refuse to believe that Redknapp would've sanctioned Bale's move to Forest to Brum unless the chairman hadn't stepped in) but Bale himself offered the proof in his recent Telegraph interview.
AVB's greatest problem was (also) himself. If only he didn't have that aspergers-y slight sort of reaction to pressure...
King got run into the ground, just like most of our other players.
As for the backup for Moutinho - isn't that why we have a DoF system? Dinotard MkI may have ruined what we had when he got all nervous that a professional would show him up and stop any dodgy dealings but I'm pretty sure AVB was head coach.
Imagine if Zenit got drawn against us and Hulk scored a hat-trick in a 5-0 thrashing or something.
I wonder if any regrets would pop up then as to how we treated him and his requests for certain players that fit his philosophy. And I wonder if we would subsequently learn our lessons with regard to supporting Poch with the players he wants.
Hmm.....
Wait... Harry was dinotard mk1.. After the football we played and the fact he got us in to the champs league and further in that competition than city have achieved over 3-4 years and a billion spent?....
That's a dinotard right?.... Dude you really don't like pie and chips do you? Even if the paella has rotten fish in it?
Considering the players at his disposal he did terribly.
Much of the CL run was based on arrogant teams underestimating us and assuming we wouldn't have the front to attack them the way we did others (didn't make it any less fun). Do you think we could have done that a second time?
I just don't like cvnts. I can also see that football has moved past his world and that no amount of misty eyed longing will bring it back.
It kind of feels inevitable that we will draw them at some stage in the competition.
Regardless of the result, it would be a bit odd if the clubs transfer strategy changed as a result of two games.
He bought Chimbonda.Considering the players he had? Did he have no hand in assembling that squad then? Developing those players? making the team balanced. Believe In that charlatan all you want Scara, fact is Harry out performed him at spurs, he is the better, less rigid manger

I don't think so. My guess is that he will continue reacting badly to pressure and that will hold back his career.depends how much of a tanking they give us
I expect that pretty much everything he does from here onwards is gonna make us look stupid

Wow...............just...........wow !

We already had two right backs and he must have been at best 4th (if not 5th) choice CB.Good cheap back up for CB and RB. We were desperate to stay up and couldnt risk injuries being a factor. That we didn't get any injuries and didn't need to play him, and the fact we signed a player we'd just sold, made it look bad.

It would be irresponsible of me to suggest that his agent had anything to do with the deal.
Dier's a young player bought for the future.Sounds a bit like Dier...
