Archie Gray

Definitely hurt himself towards the end..
looked pretty despondent walking off at FT.
(Considering we won 3-0)
From behind the goal it looked like he took a slight knock on his ankle towards the end. Maybe exacerbating something from earlier in the match.

Thought he had a decent game. Gave the ball away a bit too easily on occasions but also stood up to their attacking play quite effectively at times. Certainly enough to be encouraged with. I just hope it was only a bit of knock that he suffered and he'll be OK for next week if we need him.

Would rather see him play as DM though and have no idea why Djed is not in the team to cover Porro at RB, allowing Gray to play a DM role.
I think playing several positions can be useful for a younger player, as long as they have the necessary versatility. Gray certainly has that.

Playing well wherever he's played. Fitting into the style of play. EL may not really be a massive step up from the Championship all the time at least, but he's getting games, playing well, getting integrated and showing quality.

Is he's needed in midfield at some point this season these experiences will have helped him imo. As things are with Bergvall, Sarr and Bissouma "rotating" with Maddison, Kulusevski and Bentancur we wouldn't have room to start all of them in midfield in the EL anyway.

Apart from maybe reguillon and the gks. Is there any player in the squad (that has been fit), that hasn't had decent minutes so far this season? Think ange has done a good job rotating.

I admire a player who is versatile and it’s rare to see a player who is a specialist in multiple positions … I hope he is in the rare breed … if not I hope to see him focus on his preferred position and dominate

spence - definitely deserves more game time and could play in multiple positions
