Archie Gray

Good to know his brother is so highly thought of. Archie's arrival will give us a head start on nicking him as well.

Relieved to learn that his father, Andy Gray, is not the same misogynistic ego-maniac ex-player who partners Richard Keys in broadcast exile.

So, no "behind the scenes" video or anything other than the short interview. Disappointing! PR team are obviously still on holiday.

Was working away last week and bumped into a Leeds fan who said that he's absolutely gutted about Gray leaving. Obviously just his opinion but he said he plays like Declan Rice.

Everything he has done so far in his limited career just shows signs of a player with a massive upwards curve

Loads of minutes for a top championship side with loads of pressure

ange had no problems with sarr and udogie playing but they both had local league experience.

i can see ange having the appetite to start bergvall but i think gray will have to wait a bit. A longer and smoother transition and integration into the EPL would do him no harm.

i hope the club has a proper set up to help him on the non-footballing side....he's so young (and expensive! we could have gotten a proper CF for a bit more )

I think he's going to play some games... hopefully from the bench for a while but we have to develop our talents. Europa League will be a great place for him to showcase why we triggered his release clause.

If we don't get another RB I would guess he'll get a decent amount of game time between RB and CM.
I think Ange will want two proper RBs but this is a great point. Did Gray actually play most games as RB last season? Either way, a whole Championship season plus play-offs missing only a tiny handful of games is incredible for such a young player.
Very very happy with this signing.

Yes, by far the majority of games were as a right-back

Imagine if a player spends some time at right back and some time at left back (Trippier) his average position would be centre back. Or a Paul Warhurst who either played striker or centre back. These stats are really not very useful.

Ooh, Paul Warhurst. An early-era Fantasy Football stud.
