I'd do that with Chelsea - horrible club.
But I don't want out rivalry with Woolwich to disappear; those kinds of rivalries make non sporting side fun and fascinating.
Otherwise it's just a load of millionaires kicking a ball around.

Haha you may be right, but IF IF we did win it I don't think Spurs fans would care much and would just be revelling in us winning a European trophy. If the Goons did win the CL so be it, I always find myself to be more bothered about what the Goons are doing when we are achieving naff all ourselves...
 
I thought Frankfurt would knock us out, but I was wrong. My prediction is now we will get to the final, but lose against UTD. I believe we have a better squad than the Mancs, I somehow think that their mentality will get them through.

I think the same. But I am also hoping we do what we did to Chelsea in the final all them years ago. We have to get it right again......
 
I can't be the only one worried about Bodo??! I fear we will really struggle! And I really hope we can overcome. Don't want Utd to go thru either but would rather them then the Athletic

Of course we're worried about Bodo. Their results in recent times deserve more than respect.

Imo we need to go at them at home especially with the players they have missing for the first leg.

Anything 2-0 or more I can't see them recovering if we go to their place and play that 4-5-1 or 5-4-1 and just sit in for 90mins with a counter threat. We have so many players back fit now we can really hound them defensively knowing we have 5 goods subs to bring on with fresh legs

fudge doing anything too expansive if we're ahead...we can grind our way to this final.

i am worried about bodo and the final.
was worried about relegation until today.
i have not worried so much since i supported spurs during the archibald/crooks days
i wasn't unhappy with ramos, mourinho and conte and blamed levy not funding the right players
but this season and last levy did OK - but ange failed badly

Respectfully to Celtic we should be a harder proposition than them for Bodo, we compete (sic) in a harder league week in week out and also have a number of players who due to extended breaks are now relatively fresh and coming into some form. Take Udogie for example, I was annoyed when Spence lost his place both ties, but honestly Udogie has been in the top 3 in each game performance wise.

At home we should be able to score three or four, if we can keep them out and take a good lead to their place we should prevail.

Didn't know they had a plastic pitch, and I think they should not be allowed at any reasonable level. As far as quality is concerned, we probably paid more for three of our players than their entire squad, but I suppose that means very little
