Ange has managed in the CL, iriola has larnaca and mirandes (who I've never even heard of) on his cv before Bournemouth, I can just imagine the meltdown.

8 games in the CL iirc, 2 games a knockout 3rd round qualification tie against a no mark opposition that they lost and then 6 group stage games returning 2 points

He's used Sarr extensively. Played the youngest player in our history. Played Gray often. He's playing a part in most games atm. Bergvall too. Which other players are you looking for him to use?

If fans back this approach of signing young players, we have to show some patience.
Lankshear last weekend
Dorrington… a real centre back
Spence.. a full back
These are players who IMO are better than shunting other players out of position

Of course he got smashed, it's a team from a Diddy league, isn't it, isn't that the black mark against him, he's never managed at a good level?
But if that's not a good level what is Cyprus and 2nd Spain?

I'm ange in, one reason is because I don't see an obvious replacement, and it's not iriola or Potter in my opinion.

At least there was effort there today.

Son is missing too many chances now.
Stupid challenges at the back.

But the way we defend isn't on the players. We invite pressure, but we have done the same for years. He needs to win against rangers and Southampton with what ever patched up squad we have.

I’m fine with where he managed
Everyone’s like it’s easy to win elsewhere big that’s dribble
But… the way he is breaking the squad now is really really bad

Iriola and Potter both done well enough in the PL given their clubs which is more than what Ange has to his name

I'll give you Spence. Who knows what is going on there. The other two need Championship or League One loan. Not a "massive" misuse of the squad if these are the only things different you'd do.

They may
But they are here so no excuses
He chose to keep them and should play them

Potter did well at one club, a club with little expectations, faked at on other, 50/50 at best.
Iroala is doing OK, long way to go before I'd want him here, every season throws up a new wonder kid at one of the lower clubs.
Howe, Silva, Frank, marteniz, laudrup, nuno (remember how that went for us) to name but a few.

It hardly matters.
We either show courage of conviction and give Ange the time, or we brick on ourselves again and again and again.
The pens/mistakes were a product of tiredness. Sonny is already on a red line in terms of career, and his overuse pushes him over the edge.
Did Ange choose to play both CBs today after a month out, or did he feel the pressure for a result today versus better rehabbing? And if that's the case, why aren't Munn and Lange in there letting him know he's safe?
Chelsea sat for two seasons playing bricktily and spending over half a billion? We expect Ange to have us in the top 4 with a net spend of what, 40% of that?

Again, I'll accept what it is as long as everyone surrounding our club gets behind what we're doing. But I fear this story's being written as we speak...

We would struggle to beat Shampton with a semi fit team. Pool only just beat them and they needed a pen. This is gonna be a tough game. And Rangers, well I don't hold much hope for that, then its Pool? Seriously if we get 2 points out of the coming games, it will be a miracle

Where has this narrative come from that our squad is poor all of a sudden.

Regardless of your Levy stance, there's no way you can say we're playing to our potential even with injuries. Injuries or the chairman doesn't stop the team being setup with structure and from not trying to kill off games in other ways than by scoring more goals.

We play so naively and then are surprised when players make naive decisions. That what culture means, what is the ethos of the team coming down from the manager. A manager who has a go at his players for trying to see a game out with a couple minutes left and says that if players make mistakes it's on him, doesn't really leave himself a lot of places to go when players make stupid decisions.

I really want him to do well but he does my head in at the same time. Get some proper experienced coaches, stop leaving men over at the far post, sending your full backs forward pointlessly. Start managing situations and scorelines and actually give yourself a chance of staying in the job. It's time for all the 'letting the players work it out on the pitch' to stop cause they cant and that's why you're in charge. They are modern footballers, they've been programmed through the system to do what you tell them to.

What degree of choice did he have I wonder? IF he chose to, was happy to and is not playing him, then yes, I agree. But I think there's much more to it...BTW, Neto (a player I don't like but who Ange REALLY wanted) tore us one today.

Still better records than Ange
