Well I apologise if i caused offence, your recent and past posts have always defended Levy.

Always,

It’s no problem. A lot of folks don't get it,
I thought I was fairly extreme with my general Levy bad vibe but you do take it to another level. :tearsofjoy:

With your lost of players who left I looked though it again and I can't say any of them leaving really bothers me even in hindsight. I would have loved for Ndombele to have worked out and to this day I still think he and Lo Celso were missed managed, but we'll never know and that's by the by at this point.

I find it hard to directly blame ENIC or Levy for this current malaise (and I am 100% on the Levy is a bad football chairman ticket, if you've seen my posts it's easy to see). I agree the signings we made this summer are kind of why we are where we are, but then we have a coach who has vocally stated that he is involved in all of the requirements, so I have to apportion a good amount of the blame at his feet. He would have known what he had available to him before the season started, so I do find it a little difficult to give him sympathy in that regard.

I’m just more older and more bitter than you my friend. Possibly have seen this cycle more times too.

But keep the faith. We are a great club. And dont lose your general perception of our dear leader.

You’re quite right.

Yeah. Its awesome how he backed Ange…

Switching arguments? Tactics of a person that has no counter.

Ok even this one. The most expensive transfer of the window (uk). Then youngsters that will help with home grown and club trained quotas going forward. The 8th biggest expenditure in the world. 6th biggest net spend.

His setup looked competent in the second half against Everton when against mostly a low block team we scored twice and played quite well.

Last time we looked competent for a full game was probably the Liverpool game?
Did we?
Until we got that kulu goal, Everton were comfortable and had the better chances.
We were decent after that first goal until the end of the game but a lot of that can be attributed to Everton’s lack of confidence given their position ( in my opinion)

I think I understand where Bedford is coming from. Although I've been on the fence rather than in any camp, I have to admit that yesterday feels like a turning point for me. So far, there always was something to take away from our performances, regardless of the result. You mention Brighton away, but the first half was really good.

You have to go back a long way (at least, in my opinion) to find a performance as amateurish and miserable as what we produced in that first half against a team as poor as Everton - that same Everton team we destroyed less than six months ago. Granted, Moyes is a good manager but there isn't a single Everton player you'd want as a first-team regular. Even their fans thought Moyes wouldn't be able to get anything from that squad.

I saw absolutely nothing postive: the line-up, the set-up, the performances, the players' attitude on the pitch. I'm not sure that something you can bounce back from to be honest. Even if we somehow make it to the League Cup final, that memory will stick around for a long time, at least as far as I'm concerned.
Only would go back as far as the previous Sunday when we played Tamworth mate

Interesting, all those other teams mentioned seemed to be coping

I am willing to accept we have a difference of opinion. Are you willing to accept that comments like the one above -which are essentially designed to get me to do precisely what I am currently doing- lack an enormously important amount of context?

Vicario, Udogie, VdV, Bissouma, Bentancur, Johnson, Solanke...they are all starters. Arguably our first choice spine. I haven't even counted Werner, Odobert and Moore, who are important squad players (albeit at 17 we are playing a dangerous game with Moore). Add that to moving on PEH, Skipp, and Royal - who were experienced squad members - and replacing them with potential, and I'd love to see others cope with our injury issues when viewed in such context.

It isn't really that interesting, it's actually pretty binary.

Might be for the best those 6 pointers are away, given we have the worst home form in the PL currently.

Hopefully we can break that habit this weekend.

brick, that is truly woeful. Not that I'm surprised as this is the worst points haul for games played in a premier league season ever.
Unless my eyes deceive me, we are the only team without a win at home in the last six games. That is horrific and sackable on this six games alone, don't even need to add in the truly ghastly performances away, yet people still defend our position. It's actually beyond belief now I wouldnt put it past levy to stick with Ange when he takes us down, because he's the man to bring us straight back up, at the third attempt.

Also, anyone noticing the voting poll creeping up....

I didn't watch that, fortunately. Some people would also argue that we did much better in the second half against Everton and there's something positive to take away from that. I'm not so sure about that. I think that was just Moyes managing the game with a very poor team.

If Postecoglou didn't get the boot after a performance like that, it's fairly obvious that he's here until the end of the season or - unlikely as it seems -util we drop into the relegation zone. Quite frankly, I can hardly see Ipswich getting 9 more points but that doesn't make the next 4 or 5 months a more attractive proposition.

We will win a few games for sure but even then, Postecoglou's got a mountain to climb to regain the credit he's lost on Sunday.

He gave away our biggest ever signing for free! Lo Celso and Regullion are part of your net spend. As is every N' we signed. Emerson Royal given away at a fraction of what we paid.

The guy that signed the cheques of our money hasn't a clue. You'd think he learned something in a quarter of a century.

But here we are. Again.

Not sure how I'm switching arguments but you do you.

As above. I’m not here to fall out with Spurs fans. I apologise if i have caused offence. I pretend i dont care to make it easier. Then i get involved and it turns out i do care, probably too much.

Once levy is gone you get a pint too.

Might be stale by then but the offer is there
No offence but you're posting on here defending yourself about a club that doesn't affect you?

I say the same but to say that spurs doesn't affect anyone here is a lie. I've told myself I don't care if we go down (and it's a possibility no one can deny that) but it does.

I get levy isn't liked but he has got us in a stable place in tough times especially with the building of the stadium.

That said I want him to go, as I think we now need to go to the extra level, but that also doesn't mean that Ange has to stay. Currently we are heading for the relegation zone that is a fact and on form alone.

However, you can't just say you want a chairman to go and keep saying it and protest as it's nothing like a manager. We all know levy is stubborn and he won't go until he gets the price he thinks spurs are worth.

Currently that is crashing as each week goes and each week Ange is in charge.

Is it on Levy to back the manager and DoF, sign the players they want. Or is it on Levy to have a clue and make the decisions on who we sign himself?

There is 18 months of clues on the former, but almost 25 years of clues on the latter.

Aside from asking a few qualifying question to his direct report, Levy needs to mostly stay out of it. He shouldn't be skip levelling and having direct chats with guys 2 layers below him in the org chart. That is undermining if done the wrong way.

You'd rather have kept them?
