Im afraid its out for me after the last two matches at Arsenal and Tamworth. This is so far away from what he promised when he came in and the way we played i think he hasnt got much of a clue on how to fix it. The passing is now not forward or positive, it has reverted to side to side and backwards, so much so its now costing us at the back. The pressing is bow non existent, yes the players are "tired" due to lack of rotation but at least do a bit.

General lack of cohesion and togetherness tactically. Players lost every second ball tonight, i can go on and on. This isnt working.
 
We need a monumental points haul the rest of the season to get anywhere near European qualification. We probably need around 40 points from our remaining 17 games to be in with a shout. That's 2,35 points per game. Not very likely, to say the least. Even 2 points a game is a tough ask, and that only gets us to 58 points. Scary.
IMo we should focus on the cups. We're in all of them, and they're all winnable.
 
This guy doesn't seem the one for a long term project, if it wasn't for insane injury crises in back to back seasons he might be. Get in a manager who nurtures young talent and believes in at least a modicum of balance between attack and defence and truly give him time. I know it seems like the project and time are always being pushed to the next guy but none of Conte, Mourinho or Ange have stayed long at any of their clubs. Never got this love for Ange's charisma either. He just seems like a normal bloke who tends towards the ratty.

Yup, hopefully Postecoglou can repeat Houllier’s 2001 treble of League Cup + FA Cup + UEFA (Europa) Cup 🏆🏆🏆

Then we can see about PL title when our new transfer committee has secured a few more signings of the calibre of Gray, Bergvall and Solanke.

At this stage, we ignore the league at our peril. We can’t afford to get sucked any further down it.
