Trump needs to be removed from office. The world cannot go on like this. We cannot go on pandering to the whims of this dementia-riddled lunatic any longer.
Obviously, I am delighted that things didn't get out of hand last night, but this has a long way to run. If this is accurate from the AP: "Iran and Oman will collect tolls from all ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz during a 2-week ceasefire,.." then Iran has come out strategically ahead. They now have a usable choke point on the world's economy to squeeze as needed, and they only need to threaten action - not even do anything.
If the world needed any more reason to move to renewables faster, well, then this is it. With not enough fanfare IMO, solar+batteries quietly skipped past another major price point in some markets recently. It is madness, economic or otherwise, to be investing in anything else at this point all things considered.

Don't get me wrong I'm very happy to see him TACO but this is a massive defeat for the US. They've lost billions, cost countless lives, damaged economies etc and at the end of it haven't gained anything.

Yep, the west has lost for another 12 months minimum, cost impact already is damaging, in real terms I lost 100k of work in 3 weeks and I am a small company, good knows what the real impact will be long term for bigger more applicable business. Thats before whats being felt on rising costs.
But thats ok, he got to show off for a couple of months
