I don’t think anything’s happening in four years other than the continuation of Trump (or someone he has anointed) as President, probably under the guise of an indefinite state of emergency, used to suspend elections.

Watch out on April 20th. Some are saying this is the date Trump will invoke the Insurrection Act (Project 2025 called for doing this on day 1!). If that happens, it is more or less the end of any protests without the military wading in.
