I actually think Trump gets a huge hard on when people critcise him but then become subservient to him.

Rememeber in the 2016 primaries with Cruz

From lying Ted who puts his hand on the bible... and then he lies (ironic a subject to pick on too!)

To "Beautiful Ted"

I 100% believe Trump hates crtiticism but he seems to get on best (or like to keep around) those who went against him and end up kissing his feet.

As opposed to those who supported him all along.

It seems to be a little reminder to him that he won. I imagine he never interacts with that person again afterwards without thinking of them as a walking, talking personal trophy.

I don't think you are wrong there at all
 
Haven't watched WWE since I was a kid but I watched a Netflix documentary about Vince McMahon.

Both are in completely different industries but both of them have an explcicit amount of similarities.

Both never felt enough from their parents, both have a ruthless devotion to the jobs (SPECIFICALLY the ones their fathers did), both of their kids feel neglected and marganlised (and like they had to compete), both have had lots of allegations, both exhibit larger than life characters that no one can tell (even themselves) where it starts and ends.

Both have expressed sexual attraction to their own daughters.

Both love when people come back with their tail between their legs and are forced to recognise their own brilliance
