I didn't see much discussion until the local elections when they had issues - might be my memory failing but I'm fairly sure it was well after that.

You said the USPS has "been losing a fudging fortune" and tried to present this intervention as some slice of fiscally-minded duty. I was pointing out that the USPS has been in financial trouble for much of his, errr, "reign" thus he chose a very interesting moment -by your theory- to become "interested." As for no-one realizing the effect covid-19 might have on elections in early May, he's been leaking like a faulty Depends about mail-in ballots since before then. He had the USPS in his sights as a tool for further manipulation for ages. Only if you were like the kid in So I Married An Axe Murderer would you have failed to notice!

Why are you complicating such a simple issue? The clam got his card called. He tried to do this on the sly and was called out. I really is THAT simple. Fiscal responsibility? Don't make me laugh.

Yet everyone in the USPS, even those opposed to him, have all stated these actions have been planned for years.

So why did it take him so long? And why did he not choose to execute such plans after the election? Scara. The idiot TOLD everyone he feared mail-in ballot fraud in the days leading up to the initial action. What are you not seeing here?

Out of interest how does his actions help him and not hinder him? Surely closing one area of voting would hurt anyone with in the election? Is there a trend that says anti Trump voters are more likely to vote by mail?

Its a genuine question because from a totally outsiders view it would appear to me that if you closed off postal votes you would have to already have a pact in place with your own voters to go to the polling stations and that would be an impossible pact to set no?

Is there a demographic that would vote for Biden who would preferably vote via post and not in person?

Even in a pandemic on the outside, restricting the postal vote would have an even negative effect?

When incompetence is a possible reason for an action or set of actions, always assume incompetence.
