25/26 Injury and illness thread

My concern would be, even if we go manage to keep a good squad together should we go down, the injuries continue in a season where we effectivley play the same number of games as if we were in Europe.

I think the only way to really counteract it would be to have 2 1/2 players for every position. 5FB, 5CB, 5DM, 8AM/WF, 3CF. 25 Outtield players plus your 3x Goalkeepers.

The good thing is we can probably fill some back up spots and emergency cover for injuries from the academy if we go down. The gap in quality is too much for the PL though I wouldn't mind having a couple as an option for Villa.

Every club apart from City, Arsenal and probably Chelski/Pool would be in or about the relegation zone with an injury record like us.
