2022 World Cup... gonna ruin the European Season

For years I’ve said they should have a big clock that everyone can see like they do in basketball and NFL. That way, everyone knows what’s what and how much time there is left. Seems ridiculous to me in 2022 it’s so cloak and dagger and no one knows how much time is left except for the ref. I’m not saying teams don’t time waste and there shouldn’t be time added for it but 10 mins and 8 mins seems excessive and that they just wanted to give the other team enough time to get an equaliser.
That would require stopping the clock rather than adding time on.
I'm in favour of that idea in the same way Netball does it - as soon as any team tries to delay, the umpire stops the clock or if something unusual happens that would affect the clock.
Outside of that, it's a case of get on with it.

For football you could add sub delays to that - stop the clock to stop teams taking the tinkle.

Amounts to the same thing doesn’t it?

They've been doing it for every game since the start, regardless of the score, so it has nothing to with anyone "wanting an equaliser".

The bidding requirements are designed so that doesn't happen. England wouldn't be allowed a bid including Wembley, NWHL, Ashburton Grove, the Olympic Stadium, Twickenham and Stamford Bridge.
i'm just passing on what has been said, they purpose built those stadiums - wonder how they'll use them after the world cup. Do they dismantle and ship them elsewhere?

Okay England. Come On. Rise to the Occasion.

Harry needs to be telling his team to pressure Lloris the minute that ball is at his feet

The one with the containers Stadium 974 I believe is being dismantled and going to Uruquay
