It seems every other club played around 4-6 friendlies in July and are now focused on the opening wkd fixture, Whereas we only played that MLS All-Stars game in the US a few days ago. I really hope they spent most of the last month working hard on our formation and set-ups etc. If we get into the first few games without a clear sign of improvement people will ask a few questions about this pre-season schedule.
On the other hand, maybe we'll get off to a flyer and everyone will say that not playing many friendlies is the future lol!

Can't we at least wait until we see how our pre-season approach seems to influence our first month of the season before complaining about the club getting it wrong?
