    Ange in or out?

I saw a graph which showed we were top (or thereabouts) for intensity of sprints done. If we lose so many games, I'm tempted to say "What's the point of all that sprinting?". Wouldn't we be better getting the players in positions where not so many sprints are required, especially defensively...

    Ange in or out?

Maybe the answer is to get someone in directly under him that will implement their own tactical system and coaching and use him as a motivational man manager. I really thing that could work if we get someone in that’s really good. Ange's ego wouldn't allow it.

    Ange in or out?

I thought it was interesting that Maddison was talking on his golf day, and remarked of Postecoglu's self-belief that "Its probably his biggest strength". I guess when you lose so many games, you need that self-belief. And if Ange honestly believes that he can reinvent his approach to win in the...

    Rodrigo Bentancur

Bentacur did one outrageous piece of skill on Sunday, can't describe it but sheer wizardry. We forget he had what - 7 games out with a ban? At his best he is a superb footballer, and if he isn't out with injury, his inclusion in the midfield will surely give us more wins next season.

    Ange in or out?

there will be some supporters who will also howl at every misplaced pass, Welcome to WHL - it was like that in the 80s, when I started going to the Lane. I'm gradually coming round to accepting that Levy will see the Trophy as a watershed moment, and give Ange another crack. Personally I doubt...

    Ange in or out?

The question is whether, given the limitations of our squad, a better coach, who has experience of managing 2 games a week, and of winning, is happy to join us? We don't need another Conte, thinking he's doing us a favour.

    Ange in or out?

To be fair to Ange, there have been some bizarre situations this season - Bentacur's suspension, Biss's laughing gas (I think that was this season?), Micky and Romero coming back from injury and not lasting a game. Odd, odd very unhelpful stuff. But is Ange tactically astute? Now that the...

Tottenham Hotspur 2025 Europa League Winners !!!!!!!

Fortunately I wasn't aware any Spurs fans are dissing this cup. Any trophy, let alone a European trophy is certainly not to be sneezed at, but for us, who have been deprived of what older fans like me regard as our "rightful place at the Trophy Table", this Trophy is a mini miracle. Of course we...

What has all this meant to you???

Like everyone else I've been massively relieved to win something. It's been far too long since we experienced that feeling. But I read that Ange said he doesn't know why there is a question mark over his job after winning a trophy. Does he really not know the anger and hurt that this horror show...

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

You can't take the boss from these lads, and what kind of signal would it send? It might send the signal that losing at home is unacceptable. Ange's "rebirth" could be the start of something good, but only if he is 100% committed to winning league games as well as cup games. I guess we have to...

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

Clips I've seen make me glad I didn't. And when you start to feel as twisted as that, its time to walk. I've got better things to do with my life than be constantly abused and depressed by THFC and THFC fans. You're not alone. I found this season so depressing that I felt I was done with...

AUDERE EST FACERE - NOW MORE THAN EVER

But now is a time for celebration and reflection Agree and as part of reflection, asking the question about whether Ange's achievement means he deserves another crack is surely fair? If I was the DOF I would want to learn how exactly Ange plans to play differently next season - in particular...

    Ange in or out?

If Ange believes he can win PL games next season, then he should be given the chance. But you'd want him to be pretty specific about what he would do differently (eg defending!!). What manager can we get who we KNOW will be better in the PL? Either way is a risk, but we know, and the players...

Tottenham Hotspur 2025 Europa League Winners !!!!!!!

The atmosphere before the game and during it at WHL was exceptional - better than anything for so so long. And the performance was just wonderful, a display of defensive grit which you don't associate with our club but was just the job. Let's hope the lads want to do it again next season...it's...

Tottenham Hotspur 2025 Europa League Winners !!!!!!!

Hmmn, I'm always a prophet of doom. If I put a bet on it will 3 nil to United, Fernandes running the show....but football is a strange game. We beat Chelsea in 2008, maybe we can pull this one off?? Not sure how unless a Porro thunderbolt does the trick. It would be amazing though, Spurs...

    Vinai Venkatesham - CEO

It will pay more than 70, my guess 140-180. He will want an MBA from Harvard, LBS or Insead, who has several years commercial experience and is happy to work 60 to 70 hours a week.

    FA Cup 24/25

JUst saw the last 30, delighted for Palace, was cheering every Palace kick away from their goal and every City miskick. Now we need our boys to do it on Wednesday.

    *** OMT Tottenham v Aston Villa - Friday 16th May ***

And before the inevitable pile in, I wouldn't dream of insulting Ange or any of the players on social media. People who do that are tossers, end of story. But then apart from an annual post of Facebook, the only time I use social media is when someone puts a twitter / X link on here, and my life...

    *** OMT Tottenham v Aston Villa - Friday 16th May ***

I'm usually against "ad hominem" insults, (ie criticise the behaviour not the man) but I don't agree with your body-shaming perspective on Ange. He's a dreadful coach, the worst we have ever seen manage our team. If we lose the two remaining fixtures, I doubt the crowd will sing "Fat Aussie...

    Vinai Venkatesham - CEO

I guess he would have a PA as well. The role seems a "Chef de cabinet", maybe a bright MBA, but I'd have thought substantial commercial experience would be needed. Certainly don't think it would suit someone who wants to work from home several days a week!
