VDV is really not that good at defending. People love him because he runs fast....

Because Franks wonderful gameplay doesn't involve someone who can finish well. Only someone who can physically control long balls or head is any use to him....

After losing to West Ham even a point is nowhere near good enough. It's goodbye Frank as far as I'm concerned, we are seeing this brick week after week and against the worst teams in the league aswell.....

*** The official 2025/26 Premier League thread ***

I said West Ham will stay up. Of course it would be us that starts their survival bid. Had we beat them as we should they would have been eight points off the drop, but no of course we would bend over for a team who havent won in ten...

Not that it really matters, but having watched the video Richi didn't show it to Frank. Richi was staring at the medal himself, and Frank walks over to look at it and says 'It looks nice'. Just pointing out that still pictures and what someone says happened isn't always factually true :)...

This would be brilliant - A very sensible signing, with the added bonus Pool fans were already annoyed at him potentially going to us. If it ends up being for £3m they will lose their brick :D....

VDV doesn't strike me as that laid back. Watching his interview with Neville he struck me as a very motivated and ambitious individual. I'd be surprised if he was here more than a couple more seasons to be honest....

Funnily enough he was sent off for Liverpool against us :D ....

    Andy Robertson

To be fair to Udogie, he gets injured a lot which means when he gets back on the pitch he is always searching for form and consistency. It's not easy to show the early high levels he did when he first arrived when it's stop start for him:

Lol I feel like they troll us almost every week. Unfortunately it's not exactly difficult - Bournemouth had an 11 game winless run then beat us, West Ham hadn't won in 10 games then up we pop. We need to change the narrative....

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

On most metrics we are in the bottom half, I don't think you finding a niche one like passes Per Defensive Action that we are actually showing fairly well in is the reason Frank is still in a job. If there was a suitable candidate ready to step in after the West Ham game he likely would have...

    Djed Spence

He is on the bench a lot of the time so I'm guessing he wouldn't be for us. That being said, perhaps Pafos FC have better players than us? I can't keep up with just how bad our squad is meant to be on here....

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

In the larger pattern as you put it, we have coughed up chances and looked like we would concede. For this game we were always in control, they barely had any chances and even whilst clearly holding back we still manufactured some decent opportunities. There was nothing to really compalin about...

    Thomas Frank - Head Coach

Why would we go for it second half when we are 2-0 up against ten men and we have a bucket load of injuries? It absolutely made sense to play within unless necessary and conserve energy. Nothing to see here....

    Lucas Bergvall

Most of our players seem to get injured on our pitch, could there be anything to that? Not implying it's our fans fault btw :D....

Yeah Dortmund were very poor, you have to give part of the credit to us for that but nonetheless you would have expected them to pose more of a threat than they did. Was trying to think about reasons why the home record in Europe in ridiculously good, certainly feels like a much better...

    Djed Spence

Have a feeling if asked to play there consistently he wouldn't be as good. Also worth considering it was the element of surprise, Dortmund weren't prepared for it and would be a different ball game if teams start planning for him being there....

It's hardly an ego thing to want to play football, and there's nothing to say he's sulking. His attitude has always been spot on when on the pitch, especially considering the limited opportunities he has had....

****Tottenham Hotspur v BVB********* OMT Official

The first half in particular was so much better than what we've seen this season. Obviously having Solanke back helps, but just the intent and movement of giving forward options was great. Also helps having Udogie back who gives much better balance. I can't help but feel it would be wrong to...
