OMT - Tottenham Hotspur vs PSG

There's hardly room, but I'm looking forward to the team reminding me again and again in the coming months how delighted I am he's gone!

OMT - Tottenham Hotspur vs PSG

Don't mention Postecoglou ... I mentioned him once, but I think I got away with it. The difference between the overall performance tonight and the painful dross he routinely served up was like night and day, so although it was disappointing to have led 2-0 and not ultimately won, I'm happy and...

    Eberechi Eze

The only issue with that is that worthy effort accompanied by ultimate disappointment is indistinguishable from doing nothing, so it's rather a damned-if-you-do situation and won't put an end to the bellyaching.

    That's why it's a classic :)

    Savinho

People are just getting antsy because here we are, approaching 72 hours away from our opening game and the question of whether there's enough goals in the squad as it is hangs in the air like Tim Cahill.

    Yves Bissouma

If Bissouma didn't spot that Frank was going to be a stickler for things like timekeeping, it doesn't say a lot for his smarts. If the issue is that he doesn't care, it's probably about time he found another club.

    Eberechi Eze

For you, on the other hand, it 'emerges in the press,' but you don't like it, so not only did it never happen, but it never could have, apparently. Look mate, do you know what? I don't actually care whether or not the words "we tried" have ever passed his lips (they have, though, most recently...

    Eberechi Eze

There is, you just weren't paying attention. You probably don't remember the famous 'actions of others' speech either (criticism of agent activity after we'd ... you know, tried).

    Eberechi Eze

We won't get either of them. This feels like classic Levy 'we tried' territory.

OMT - Tottenham Hotspur vs PSG

Yes, it's been around since 1973, but as Gutter Boy said above, up to and including season 1998-99 it was contested between the winners of the European Cup and the Cup Winners' Cup. Spurs' previous wins in qualifying competitions all came too early.

    Savinho

His (goals - xG) stat last season was -3.8 (worst in the league). Even Richarlison was only -0.3. Maybe he's lucky at cards ...

Not replacing Richarlison would be a dereliction of duty in my view. We can't rely on a 'striker' who (a) is almost always injured and (b) can't hit the target even when he's fit.

Ha! Handed two leg-ups by VAR and still lost it.

Personally don't get what the fuss is about.

    Grealish

He hasn't really done any more or less for them than Doku, and the latter has probably been the more exciting player for me. Both seem to promise more than they've ever delivered.

Friendly match: Tottenham v Arsenal (Hong Kong) 12.30/7.30pm BST/HKT

Take that, Mysteron Agent, Mikel Arteta. Thunderbirds are go! Lovely to see the defence functioning as a unit again, instead of the headless chicken act we've had for the past two seasons of playground football.
