    In all honesty tho forget money and wages if you were a promising player at spurs the last thing you'd be thinking about is becoming tied down to the club for and longer period of time, same goes for vertonghen. Our dealings in last few windows have not matched these players ambitions clearly...

    Well avb clearly wanted moutinho. We 'missed the deadline' why didn't we just fax the paper work over the following day then and have him join us on January 1st?? Nah we instead posted a profit on transfers. Following summer avb made it perfectly clear those players were not his choice.
