    I understand that it's not a criticism of him, he didn't have a good game but he didn't hide and still backed himself to pass and tackle, that's what I like to see no fear. I prefer to see players expressing themselves rather than passing backwards or hiding.

    He's ok with his left and I'm sure we'll see him use it more, could be just one of the things he's working on. In youth football he's had more time and teams aren't as well organised, he'll adapt.

    That's his strength, he gets in the right places to score, he's not half as good as Moore but I'm sure he'll score goals.

    Thought he did well as did all the youngsters, the most impressive thing for me was that none of them looked frightened by the occasion, we've seen in the past kids come in and freeze. They've got a long way to go but they seem to have the mentality to succeed.

    I feel real sympathy for him, every time I've seen him play he looks desperate to succeed and a popular member of the team. I've read he's moody but I've found that's often a sign of frustration with your own ambitions. I hope to see him back as I think fit, in form and happy he's a great asset...
