Fingers crossed. Then Regulion to join Mourinho before Turkey's deadline in a few weeks

I bet Betis are wanting us to cover his wages too - that'll be what they are bartering for

Skriniar is a good low block defender who would have suited Mourinho. But he's no good for a higher line

Glad we waited a year and got Romero instead. He never seemed mobile enough for the EPL

Any punts on who our LB Odobert might be then? No real links at all yet. Murillo and Cirkin were my two guesses.

They do look a bit of a long ball side. It might not be bad training for him though if it helps build the aerial side of his game

Looks to have really strong hold-up and link-up play. That seemed quite impressive against the traditional meanest defence in football.

It sorts his club trained status though, rather than having to make sure he doesnt go out next year. Lankshear, Moore and Dorrington (plus maybe Devine) will be our 23-25th men in our trimmer squad, so they should hopefully get minutes

That's less than I though. Although fees have not far off double in those two years, the way Chelsea and co. have destroyed the market!

What do you reckon? £30m? That's pretty much Spence + inflation. Would help replenish our samba vibe too

I wonder if we might go for Murillo from Forest as an attacking LB who can also cover CB?

Agree about CB. Dorrington is still around at the moment too for this year. The only think i wonder about LB is if for midweek games we'll use Spence there (where he played all last season) with Gray at RB, as well as having them as weekend bench options. Its a way to give them both decent minutes.

Would still be good value at market rate. Club trained and all

But you're still in the top 5% richest people in the country. Its just a mechanism to make a fair share contribution to improving public services. Spoilt kids become tossers anyway

    I reckon we'll use our £6m buy-back on Cirkin

Because you only have to pay 40% on anything over £1/2m if it's going to children. Only the richest 5% of the population have to pay anything. The proposals are to tackle loopholes being used in stocks, shares, pensions and land; house inheritance will stay as it is.

Separate point - Oasis and Britpop was the last state school musical movement. Everything since has been private school and music academies. Maybe the reunion is a good omen for the future - the working class finding its voice again?

As long as the new taxes target those who don't pay their share - the rich and big business. Capital gains, inheritance tax, end the triple lock etc.
