They should just have a rule that players playing for clubs in Europe are ineligible for international friendlies.

Lamb? And not paying tax on their cigarettes. Not sure really - they've just not had the Covid contractions the rest of the continent seem to have, so are still throwing decent sized fees and salaries around - hence Sanchez and Ndombele last year, Regulion this.

Turkey is the only league in Europe (after EPL) that has any money at all at the moment

Who has better than Isak, Gordon and Barnes in your opinion? Isak is the best alround CF in the league, Gordon has pace, Barnes brains. Us, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea dont have close to as good as that trio. Some combination of City's players?

I thought he was great. Up against probably the best front 3 in the league. 2 awesome slide tackles to boot

But to sabotage and kill off your career at 20? Unless its just a PSR fiddle to move him to PSG or Saudi Sportswashing Machine for pennies in january?

But there's 100s of top flight clubs across the world, and you only need to find one. Worst case - play the emotions and get Lloris back from the museum for a short swansong/more fitting farewell

You get your choice of anyone in the world who isnt playing. Bung Madrid £2m for Kepa for 2 months, or PSG for Keylor Navas etc.

So we'd actually be in a better position if we release/send to Turkey Forster and Whiteman?

He was a good player - i remember watching him a bit when he was at Leicester. Really commanding solid CB who could play a bit. Although his 'Sol Sol Bamba' song made me want to vom, for obvious associations

We named 5 GKs in our squad last season didnt we (Lloris left after), and had those same 4 for the rest of it

But those 2 signings would have been able to be in the Europe squad, where they would have got their minutes, unless they'd been club trained - Lo-Tetala, Jordan Archer, Cerkin etc

We can play Austin in Europe (early and LC/FAC), he's fine for that. If Vicario ever gets more than a minor injury, we can use the emergency loan rule to bring in however we want. The biggest risk is him getting a major red card and missing 3 league games

They can be signed, but they can't be registered to play till 1 Jan now, so its not what it looks like.

Yeah. Brazilians see him as Neymar's heir (though he's a different style of forward). It was seen that a year ago he made a smart decision of going to Benfica, rather than straight to Barca/Madrid, so he could get some more game time. And he did well in Portugal. Its very strange/disappointing

*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur vs Saudi Sportswashing ***

i reckon he might start with Maddison, Bissouma and Bentancur as the trio (the most solid/experienced choice), then use Sarr's legs or Kulu/Bergvall's creativity if we have to chase the game at any point

Whiteman, Dorrington, Lankshear and in theory Regulion too. The only limit on EPL is 17 overseas players, and we are a couple under that. For Europe Regulion and Forster miss out, as we have too many overseas/homegrown, but not enough club trained.
