The thing every keep missing with this second striker bit is that when he was doing that at Frankfurt he was playing with an effective and quality player in Ekitite. They built a great rapport on the pitch. We don't have anything close that when the striker went are trying to pair him with his Solanke.
Personally I that's a waste of time and we'll get as much out of him playing playing solo striker as we will get out of playing off Solanke who is basically offers nothing in terms of partnership.

He's not a LW at all. It feels a lot like people are trying to pigeon hole him into a role they *want* him to assume despite it not suiting his play style or abilities.
In our Defence Zervi system there is one role for him and one role only and that's the striker berth. Clearly that is also what De Zerbi wanted him for but it has worked straight out of the blocks and due to some other injuries he's trying things but Marmoush is not a creative and never will be and Solanke isn't an effective partner and likely never will be either. It's no 9 for Marmoush or nothing imo.
