Mohammed Kudus

I think RDZ will address the left hand side of the pitch. That's what Kudus needed last season. It all came through him on the right so he was double marked.
kudus is primarily left footed isn't he? savinho is also left footed and prefers the right wing. interesting to see how dezerbi organizes the attack if savinho transfer comes through.

I though Sav preferred the left wing and that is where his best career stats came from before joining City.

It feels similar to Kudus having to play on the left because of Bowen playing right.

I could be wrong though

From an interview when he joined City

“My favourite position? I really like playing on the left and right, but I can also play in the middle. [If I had to choose], I really prefer to play on the right wing. But whatever the coach, the boss decides, I will help the team.”

Savio prefers the left wing but yes he's left footed.

His break out season came from him playing on the left, for him to have attacking threat he doesn't have to cut in and shoot. That's what hasn't worked for him at City.

Thought he did quite well for someone who's not played for 7 months.
looked Ok but severely short of match fitness. good awareness and decision making but execution was awful. expected i guess?

how do other clubs introduce players who haven't played for eons and then goes on to score in their first match - against us ?

They probably bring them back later on their fitness trail. Also Kudus isn't really a goal scorer so the likelihood of him coming back and just taking hold of the game and scoring is low anyway. That's not really him.

Agreed. The energy changed with his introduction. If he stays fit, he’ll be a fantastic addition to the team
I’m not sure what he did. It was a triple substitution with Porro dropping back into RB. I just think Kudus needed more time to get some sharpness back, as summed up by him skying the ball with his cross.
I’m just glad that Kudus has competition and won’t have to be run into the ground like Frank did to him.
