Why? We both have different people in charge compared to only 9 months ago. The Kudus transfer 12 months ago was also seamless and helped both clubs (them with PSR deadline, us with a lower fee)

This is the one I'm actually quite excited about. We've needed a deep lying ball player since Modric (Dembele-Wanyama was obviously great, but in a different way)

So all this about Bergval being the future, this kid is only a year older right? And is far more established than Bergval? Also if we get the £50m reported for Bergval then this deal is technically only £35m?

Very good player. Happy with the signing. I think it’s a massive over pay. But that’s the position we’re in if we want to beat out any club that’s above us in the “food chain”

I guess we are about to find out which deals needed to be done by today (like this one for West Ham) and which deals clubs prefer to fall in the next financial season from tomorrow.. maybe Savinho, Tonali aren't official yet for a reason.. same with some outgoings, maybe we will see those ramp up now too

A £35M profit on Bergvall can comfortably support a £100m transfer spend. The only difference is the wages.

Id rather sell Sarr/Bent first and keep Berg and Gray, but not if he is going to demand to leave

Great news. He's young enough sign a new contract (zero transfer fee) in 3-4 years if we can keep him.

My bet is that Tonali is choosing City over us which is why we pulled the trigger on Fernandes.

Brilliant signing, relegated twice in a row, I guess third time lucky for him next season.

Now it will be interesting to see if we still go all in on Tonali or a cheaper alternative, or simply move on to the LW targets.
