I just hope we play well, expect the usual over hype from the media, building up expectations and ready to rant when/if we fail.
Yeh, media will do media things. We should go deep regardless, international football sucks badly and we by default have one of the strongest squads within that.
On paper, didn't Clough says we play on grass?
No absolutely, TBH I am fairly disinterested in national football these days, just saying, the standards brick and we should by default do fairly well, if they don't I couldn't really care too much

England owe someone a spanking?
Is he mainly stateside these days?....money talks and not sure how the phone tapping scandal resonated that side of the pond?Seperate to football. Why is Piers Morgan not completely shamed out of a public career after haven’t in the phone tapping scandal?
England? With that squad? We are going to win the worst ever hosted WC in history, I am convinced
I'm pretty sure they're not going to win it. If I were you, I'd back someone who's actually qualified for it!I’ve not decided who to support yet, my normal go to is Italy.

Hence my quandary.
Had they qualified I would be supporting them.
Are people really that interested in this partcuular world cup?

Englishmen just fudging hate the mexican wave. Why? I've noticed this over the years, it's like the worst thing that could ever happen in a stadium, according to Brits. It seems like a part of the football culture in Britain. Where does the hatred come from? Why is it so awful that it's become a bit of an antagonist in the British football encyclopedia?

You could always reply "it's cheesy" or whatever, but why is that such a unison response in the UK? You're all brainwashed! Haha. I don't particularly care for it one way or the other, so wouldn't be bothered to boo it (why would I?), but I wouldn't necessarily care to participate either.
