I honestly don't know half the teams in it or when it start, only found out today England are playing tonight when missus complained about it, bit of a cheek as I had to endure Worlds got Talent for weeks.

Surely in such a predicament your fallback should be whichever national team has the most ASSnal players? As they did play the most turgidly defensive football in Europe last season.

Englishmen just fudging hate the mexican wave. Why? I've noticed this over the years, it's like the worst thing that could ever happen in a stadium, according to Brits. It seems like a part of the football culture in Britain. Where does the hatred come from? Why is it so awful that it's become a bit of an antagonist in the British football encyclopedia?

You could always reply "it's cheesy" or whatever, but why is that such a unison response in the UK? You're all brainwashed! Haha. I don't particularly care for it one way or the other, so wouldn't be bothered to boo it (why would I?), but I wouldn't necessarily care to participate either.

I hate it. You're in the middle of a football match and the real supporters want to watch the game as it becomes a little chess like. Then the people in the stadium who don't appreciate the game and are therefore bored decide the only way they can be entertained is doing a Mexican wave. So the real supporters refuse to do it. Used to make me laugh as an England fan away from home where the opposition started it and not a single England would stand up.

I dislike it as I go to sports events to watch the match and not have some mindless idiot stand up in front off me, I also dislike spectators who standup at corners and freekicks as I have a bad back and dodgy knee.
