We import the best players in the world, can't see why we don't do it with referees. You see a lot of foreign refs who are just no nonsense, do as I say. All our refs just look like the kid at school that got bullied.

I don't necessarily disagree, but at the World Cup you'll see refs from all around the world that come from a much slower, lower standard of football but can make the step up. IMO it's just that they have a better framework from IFAB/FIFA than the Premier League refs do from PGMOL.
