I am shocked this chap's page was on page 3. This guy has definitely gotten better. I hope he starts the next match.
Has he, or is the alternative just that bad? At this point it's probably better to start him than Muani, but I'm not sure we've seen an "improvement" from him.I am shocked this chap's page was on page 3. This guy has definitely gotten better. I hope he starts the next match.
You are joking. If you compare him with when he first came. There is a difference.Has he, or is the alternative just that bad? At this point it's probably better to start him than Muani, but I'm not sure we've seen an "improvement" from him.![]()

Is there? I don't really think so unless the ceiling was literally the floor. You are joking. If you compare him with when he first came. There is a difference.
There is definitely an improvement. Looks more dangerous on the right than the left.Is there? I don't really think so unless the ceiling was literally the floor.![]()
or has muani gone worse? so hard to tell these daysHas he, or is the alternative just that bad? At this point it's probably better to start him than Muani, but I'm not sure we've seen an "improvement" from him.![]()
Agreed that he had a good game.Good game against Villa and hopefully his decision making shall improve, as a couple of wayward shots when he could’ve laid on easy chances for teammates (especially when Gallagher was on edge of 6 yard box) but thankfully that didn’t prove costly in the end.
Agreed that he had a good game.
Thought the assist was an example of what both excites and frustrates with him. Was a pretty obvious pass on, to Porro I think. He went for the cross instead and it paid off.
I really like that, he takes responsibility, tries to make things happen, believes in himself. Given that he's still young and a bit raw he'll make the wrong decision at times and he's not at the level where he consistently gets the execution right. I get that this will be frustrating to some, but if he can find the next levels in terms of execution and decision making there's a quality player in him. And as he's shown repeatedly now he has the technical capability of doing that. Can he step up on terms of consistency only time will tell.
Well that's likely considering Frank criminally underused him. He has the ability and the right mentality, and the things that he needs to improve on are exactly the things you would expect from a young player.much more improved and very hungry and ambitious to a fault
my guess is that rdz will help him improve much better than tf could
It's so weird someone saying our attacking talent. I almost started believing we had no attackers of any PL ability. I do think Tel,Kudus, Odobert, Richy and Xavi have been made to look the spacegoats this season.Well that's likely considering Frank criminally underused him. RDZ said he wanted him at Marseille, he will come along nicely under him as will most of our attacking talent like Simons/Kudus and Odobert I would expect....
I think it’s so simple to think Pauli is too defensive. His contributions mean that he breaks up opponents attack and is often the reason for us to capitalise and start our own attack in positions both deep and further up the pitch. His passing is very underrated but it’s a easy miss as his defensive abilities overshadow most of the other good stuff he brings to the team. It's so weird someone saying our attacking talent. Amazing what a positive manager can do. I'm guilty too... I didn't understand the point of Palinha in a negative midfield. But damn, in a midfield that tries to play football, he is a beautiful warrior that just gets more beastly as the game goes on.
But it's incredible how footballers look so much better playing football. Tel is one I hope benefitsI think it’s so simple to think Pauli is too defensive. For me the jury is still out on Tel. He doesn’t excite me but I’m not condemning him or singing his praises just yet.But it's incredible how footballers look so much better playing football. Tel is one I hope benefits

I think that's a fair assessment. For me Tel is still underwhelming and we still need to add actual starting quality wide men. We only really have Kudus who fits in that category. They aren’t perfect
But they are better then what we have seen
