Imho Tudor got it badly wrong today, from the starting line up to the subs. I could understand not starting Simons against their midfield but the half time subs made no sense to me whatsoever. The worst thing that could happen if we go down would be losing Gray. I think there would be lots of clubs interested in signing him. The rest of them can fudge right off with the exception of a couple of them. I also think this current set of players would find it hard to come straight back up from the Championship if we go down
I’ve been in the “shirley it can’t happen to us” camp. But now I am seriously, seriously worried. It’s going to be a tough run-in.
And it’s going to be hard to replicate the good vibes built up by THFC Flags and others for today’s game across our remaining home fixtures - even though that’s the point of the whole campaign. What perfection we are!
I did have a hope before today. Now I think we are done.Worried?
I'm past worrying, it's fudging done - we ain't got a hope of staying up
100% thisHad a moment of realisation and acceptance around 80 minutes. I’ve said it for a while, but it just suddenly seemed deeply true that these players aren’t good enough.
Some don’t have the basic skills needed to keep us up (Vicario, Sarr, Spence, Richi, Solanke); some don’t have the right mentality (Van de Ven, Porro, Xavi, Romero): which leaves Gray and Danso.
West Ham still have to play the Goons. I can see the Premier League setting it for the last midweek of the season. If the Goons have wrapped up the league by then I could easily see them rolling over just to shaft us.

Just of the top of my head Villa at home in cup/Wed/dortmund
You don't start either Solanke or Richi and have him in as a 10, so you can still play tel.
The momentum (if there was any) from midweek was manly down to him and his goals, we also looked better v Liverpool with him on the pitch.
Lets hope we can hang on to the likes of Gray, Bergvall and Tel.Same.
Have been looking at the youngsters out on loan with the view of will they be starters for us next season, rather than are they ready to be part of the squad ..
TelLets hope we can hang on to the likes of Gray, Bergvall and Tel.
Seeing a lot of “well what was the point” and “that’s how they repay us” posts on SM after today.I’ve been in the “shirley it can’t happen to us” camp. But now I am seriously, seriously worried. It’s going to be a tough run-in.

I’m not religious in the slightest, but AfudgingMen to this. Now I’ve calmed down, I realise this is exactly what’s needed. If we go down we go down fighting as a club. Turn the haters round and own the situationSeeing a lot of “well what was the point” and “that’s how they repay us” posts on SM after today.
Thing is, we need to continue to do it. Crowd were excellent today all game IMO. Yeah, it’s an absolute gut punch. But all the people saying “we’re down, it’s done”. We need to be better than that as a fan base. We aren’t even bottom 3 yet. Much worse situations have been turned around with much worse squads. As a fan base, we need to continue to roar these boys on. If we go down, that’s for the board and players to explain and live with.
Everyone needs to show some backbone and resilience right now. Fans included.
Gray will be very tough, I fear. Maybe making him club captain and giving him a massive salary boost and an out if we don’t get up first time might work.
Tel won’t be interested in the Championship. Bergvall probably the most likely one for us to hold on to.
