+++OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool+++

Yup. It's the same thing, fans are looking for excuses. It's not the coach, it's the players. How much more evidence do we need to see. Even in Frank last couple of games out overall performance wasn't awful yet we still lost.

We played quite well against Athletico but yet were 3-0 down within 20 minutes and lose the match 5-2. We started the match reasonably yet are still losing and Liverpool have also hit the post.

Our limitations is not the tactical setups it's technical abilities of the players out there in the pitch. That fudging hopeless pass from Tel being another example.

Let's just look at a handful of games since Xmas , granted some of the performances were poor - I'm just looking at points.

Burnley - 2 points dropped because of Romero, VDV, Vicario
Sunderland - 2 points dropped - Vicario and Romero
West Ham 1 point - Vicario
Fulham 1 point dropped - Vicario, Romero
Palace 1/3 points - VDV/Vicario

Those points would have us safe

It's every game.

I will say, credit to the players because they look like they are communicating with each other, staying compact, and for the most part making the easy decision. Minimising mistakes. The bar is on the floor, but from what we’ve seen lately, it’s an improvement.

Have to comment on the ref though. Yet again it’s like they just want things to go against us. To tell Solanke to get up in the early part of the game…I swear I’ve seen that scenario 100 times and the foul is given every single one. But for some reason Solanke gets told to get up. And then to get a free kick against us which just wasn’t a free kick in any case. And certainly not against the bar that was then established by telling Dom to get up.

Sometimes needs to be done about this. I don’t think it’s intentional bias but clearly some psychological thing where because we are struggling, it’s assumed things go against us, and it becomes this self fulfilling thing that the refs buy into. But it shouldn’t happen. There’s too many instances of it this year.

I like Souza, I like him a lot. He's going to fudging cook in The Championship.

Prior to this season I’d assume you’re referring to Souza being loaned to a Championship club but I guess one upside to being relegated is that our youngsters can both get up to speed in a lower division at the same time as playing for their parent club!

Dragusin has been EPICALLY bad today.

Spence was telling him where to go and what to do from the first minute.

Dragusin is allowed to have the ball by Liverpool, as they want him to have it, he is utterly hopeless.

I know he is out of position, but my GHod he is bad.

Not the worst first half from us, they are bang average at best
Goal from a foul that wasn't and a pretty awful attempt from Vicario, made amends with the save onto the post

Bring on Simons and get him in the big gaps they have between their defenders and midfield currently

Thought we started well and finished well and hung on in the middle. We’ve looked reasonably well organised when defending the box for the most part.

Vicario gets by on his ability to stop shots. I’ve no idea how he doesn’t save that. Richi is willing but brainless at times. Dragusin looks like he’s playing with someone else’s feet. But other than that we’ve been good.

fudge knows how this finishes but I feared it’d be worse. We’re narrowly losing at Anfield and, to be fair, it’s not on the manager.

If Richie could head the ball like Romero, we’d be up 1-2 today and would’ve lost 4-3 on Tuesday.

But we played with some spirit. Not sure why we have a right-footer on the left and a left-footer on the right but other than that we played a very respectable first 45 mins.

HOWEVER…when is someone from the club going to make a statement about the avalanche of poor refereeing decisions we’ve been on the wrong end of this season?!!! Build that siege mentality… Us against the World, and the the world know we aren’t going down without a fight.
