Seems again a weird set of circumstances. Buy Robertson, absolutely, have Udogie as understudy, but then why by Souza?
We are one odd club with how we approach things.
I wouldn't be surprised if there is a plan to sell Udogie tbh

Yes, he's a quality LB and has valuable attitude and experience, would be a good asset next season & beyond
Yeh maybe, might be thinking of flogging him to balance the books hahahahI wonder if we are concerned with Udogies injuries - another season missing a lot of games and it's probably a point where you think about moving him on
The £3m isnt worth it to Liverpool, especially if they are targetting the FA cup + top 4 this seasonI would expect that this one will get sorted on transfer deadline day
Souza is 19 years old with barely even any experience in Brazilian football. I suspect he'll play under 21 football for us or get loaned out to continue his development.Seems again a weird set of circumstances. Buy Robertson, absolutely, have Udogie as understudy, but then why by Souza?

I hope not, he is the only one who can pass the ball forward with purpose.I wouldn't be surprised if there is a plan to sell Udogie tbh

Because everyone has to agree?why are we so inefficient in transfers
we need players, but keep failing to get them across the line - even the cheap over the hill ones

I actually thought Ricky meant all as in us, Liverpool, and Robertson.I definitely get your point. At the same time right now beyond Lange and Frank + getting Vinai on board with that who are there who has to agree?
On the side of further despair. Frank has only really seen success working in a really good setup where he probably had a say on signings, but it wasn't mostly up to him. Lange has shown himself well capable of identifying good young players, but ready made improvements haven't exactly looked like a strength of his. Paratici does have a history of fixing immediate issues well, but will probably have half his mind on his next job and returning to Italy.
Hope we have a "Paratici special" incoming towards the end of the window. But the window so far doesn't exactly fill me with great hope.

Levy, it’s all because of Levy…why are we so inefficient in transfers
