****Tottenham Hotspur v BVB********* OMT Official

Slightly more concerned in the second half, looked like a team with nothing to fear or lose in the first, back to more of old "let's be careful" in second.

Could be my prejudice kicking in, not recognizing a managed game. Also, nothing happens in a vacuum, Dortmund being a man down and two goals under of course changes their gameplan and mental state, they probably came in with a feeling that this would be a walkover after how it has been over the last weeks, while we came with a "nothing to lose here, let's fudging show them!"-mentality. That flipped 180 at half time.

But, there were so many, many positive signs in todays game, even harbingers possibly. Stats and graphs are nearly as frowned upon by some fans as words like "science" and "medical research" is among antivaxxers, but I for one am looking forward to peruse over the passing statistics from the first half in particular. I think I can safely bet my left, slightly lower testicle against a penny that we had far more progressive passes, in far more forward positions than we have had in a long time.

Right chuffed with that result, and going to bed with a smile on my face.
I always assumed your avi was the KFC bloke Colonel thingy. Instead it is a strange statue of a man with a huge mole on his face?

We have played like this in plenty of games though and not got rewards. We have also played crap too many times and been bogged down with confidence in the league.

We haven't fluked being 4th in the CL table, thats telling.

Need to string stuff together

I agree. We have played like it plenty of times but we haven’t finished well or made the right final boss when we should have. Essentially a lot of Porro examples on the counter tonight. If the players actually execute then Frank’s football can actually work.

So basically we turned up, they had one sent off and from there we played assertive if not expansive football.

In truth we should have had more than 2 but when you consider there was only one first team player on the bench, and we were handed the initiative by the var dismissal, playing within ourselves and progressing 2-0 was excellent game management.

I enjoyed Bergvall and Solanke tonight, the former with Gallagher might be an interesting engine room. I'm not sure whether Xavi is a flat track bully at the moment, but he was good, and Porro was ace. Last word for our captain, he really is becoming a talisman for us and boy do we need one after the departures these last 3 years.

if they execute its fudging brilliant, look at the xGa, it was zero at half time, zero, thats liquid football

To be honest, I can't for my life remember what the heck it is! I only remember I had to change it because I had a rather immature moving gif-thingy back in the days...

Could I accidently have been starting the jinx by removing the bouncing beauties??

I googled Junior19 and just got loads of tennis rackets for kids. Suggest you change it to a kid with 19 written on his face,

I think he thought he was offside, at least that's what it looked like in the stadium. I'm not sure of the replays showed differently?

a few people have said that now, makes more sense, on the angle of the TV coverage, offside didn't even occur to me, as they had two on the nearside appearing to be much deeper

Attendance: 52,713

For all the doom and gloom that's a pretty good turn out , fans do not have an endless supply of cash with so many matches and it's January the kipper season.
Apart from a tiny amount of boos when manager & team were announced on the big screen for Frank the only yellow in the stadium were stewards and away fans seems like Change for Tottenham stayed at home.

An other brick performance and the team heap more piles of it on by winning. This team don't deserve the fantastic fans they have. So many spent hard earn money to go on a terrible night and expected to have a great time booing and behaving like spoilt kids and the players let them down by a totally unexpected victory.

a lot of them will be fuming I guarantee it

It was wet, think Muani thought it was going out of play but the ball slowed up. Spence steamrollers in and makes Muani look terrible. We need Muani to come good. Can be a good player if he finds his stride.
