Why is nobody talking about us chasing Ruben Neves, when we so desperately need a ball-playing DM? He was second best in the league to Rodri IMO before he left, and maybe the best set piece taker too. He's only 28, very much PL proven, still plays internationally and we saw during the CWC that the Saudi teams are capable of holding their own against the best club teams in the world. He's said he would take a pay cut to get back to Europe and only has 6 months left on his contract so wouldn't cost much in fees.
The last thing we need is another "talent" for the future but an upgrade on Bentancur or Palhinha. Midfield is our biggest weakness and is our #1 priority IMO.

I think there was a point when it looked like we would play the first half of the season without a single player who could play in the attacking midfield/number 10 type position and some people were then happy for us to just sign anybody.
