World Cup 2026 - Qualifiers

9-1 Norway. Could've been 15. Still fully expecting us to lose to either Estonia or Israel.

Still absolutely kicking myself we didn't sign Nusa. What a fucnkng player. Must've had at least 10 successful take ons.

Next stop for Norway will be teams looking for a draw. Enjoy.

And 11.
Aasgaard who only came on after 64 mins with 4 goals.... Rangers fans will be questioning why they don't see that player for them.

Norway - Moldova 11-1. Haaland with 5 goals and 3 assists. Thelo Aasgaard with 4 (or 3. One maybe classed as og). What a performance. Not the best opposition, but still. Italy only managed to beat them 2-0 at home.

What I've seen is he is played a lot deeper for Rangers. He's really good at arriving in the box and be in the right place at the right time for bounces and rebounds.

You know, not to be roostery about it, but Nusa on the left and Bobb on the right, Ødegaard in the middle, Haaland up top, I honestly don't think you could be better equipped for that. But lets see. I still fully expect us to fudge it up against Estonia or Israel.

Don't really know which thread to put this in (could be many, really), but this is likely the new mayor of NY City (unless big money/MAGA hitmen put an end to his campaign):

Crunch match for Norway against Israel on Saturday. I'm actually feeling quite nervous. Would be such a lift for the country if we managed to get to the World Cup. Ødegaard sadly missing, but we should have enough quality to pull through. Come on ffs!

We are perfectly capable to feck this up in the most spectacular fashion. Like you, I'm nervous!

He's a very good politician.

This is the last time we'll have this one, but starting next year the September one will be a week longer.
The current calendar is a complete mess. They should do 2 longer windows for internationals of 3 weeks each, play 4 matches in that time and leave the rest of the season uninterrupted! Maybe Feb and November, something like that?

Or play the season and have the internationals at the end.

Is the answer

Have it as one long camp, actually work on tactics and play all international games at the same time.

A system that benefits clubs, international teams and the fans.
Do the players get a say in this? Not sure after a nice long domestic season they then want to actually have a month or more of International football camps rather than go on their summer holidays ...

But the season would be shorter as a result and add no extra time to their schedule. If anything they would be travelling less.
