If we only make one signing, I hope it's Savinho, a quick player who can beat a man 1v1 but also carry the ball and team up the pitch with his control and running ability.

The creativity doesn't always need to come from that number 10 position. Especially if we have a solid and balanced midfield like we had today.

For now i suppose. But it depends what we do at ACM. If we bring in the 'Como Kaka', we might be to play two creative wide players.

Medium term, Tel will also be a much better goalscoring option from the left than Johnson

Im not a Johnson hater in the slightest. I just dont think he's anywhere near as effective on his wrong side. I thought Odobert immediately offered more when he came on yesterday (though there isnt much between them at this stage)

Effective is exactly what you call it when Johnson has played two games on the left and scored two goals.

We all get it, he's not the most exciting and skillful winger in the world. But he's a proven goalscorer, and until we sign better he is not going to be replaced and nor should he. Kudus doesn't score many, our CFs aren't exactly goal machines and the rest of our wingers don't score many between them. So we are not going to be removing Johnson's 20 plus goals a season any time soon....

Sorry mate.... that's a load of BS informed solely by preconceived perceptions.

Once again.... goals win games and neither Tel nor Odobert are currently able even to lace Brennan's boots in that respect.... Also five goals in two dominant matches... sort of indicates a bit balance I would think...
