Sarr isn't a million miles away, and is probably more of a goal threat. Maybe Sarr can't swivel and beat a man quite so well. But he is also a couple of years younger. The temptation is to look at shiney purchases, rather than invest in our own. And Sarr is proving to be pretty decent. He undoubtly needs backup and rotation. But I'd personally prefer someone backing him up, rather than him being the back up, as he will come on leaps and bounds. 23 and he's ready to explode onto the scene and make a name for himself imo.
I think for me I'd rather Sarr was playing with an AM rather than being the AM. I think his strengths suit us better in other areas, but he is super talented and can do a job to an extent I just think he's never going to be the guy who unlocks defenses in the manner we are going to need it done. A tight settled defense? How is he going to bypass that?

You and others think Sarr just "did a job to an extent" in the first couple of games and the friendlies? I think he was better than that.

Sarr doesn't need to be the one unlocking defenses. Is MGW? Not really. We have Kudus, Odobert for that. Sarr's role is work hard, win the ball, transition, pass, and arrive in the box to tuck the ball in the net - something he is a bit underated at by our own fans.

Paqueta really isn't all that. I know he scored a nice goal but he just does the occasional fancy flick and the rest of the time is a liability and falls over so easily. Bowen on the other hand....

I think that's because he doesn't care about being at West Ham

Seen him a few times for Brazil and when he first came into the league and he was a different player

Just bidding for Bowen would be lols

And then he agitates for the move by slapping in a transfer request saying that his heart is at Tottenham … hard man tough talking Danny dyer steps in locks his daughter in a room … oh go on then
