But that said, we look organised. We’re winning our duels. And we’ve played a tall, strong team to maximise the set pieces, which clearly we’ve done, that’s great!

Part of me thinks winning another trophy in part because we’re physically ahead cheapens it…but it doesn’t. Plenty of the teams that have been collecting trophies in the last few years have done so because of lucky draws or quirks like this. At the end of the day you have to beat what’s in front of you, and get yourself the opportunities to be in those matches in the first place. So hell yeah I’m happy.

Yeah, but they have a full strength team and we're missing 3 key players. So it kinda evens out, no?

I think we shouldn’t get carried away in terms of what it means for the season, but we should absolutely do in terms of potentially another trophy if we can hold on. So often we’ve had the brick end of the stick and been unlucky with the draw, or the bounce of the ball, the finest of margins not going our way. So I’m absolutely gonna enjoy the heck out of this winning feeling if we hold on. Other clubs have had their fill of it while we’ve been waiting patiently.
