Yeah 8 don't think he's crap or anything like that but people have been overly singing his praises beyond the level he's actually at. When it comes to recovery pace and tackles he's great but everything else is meh.

Again as I typed VDV doesn't really have any impact on the goal conceded.

Honestly I don't want to be negative but I think there's only one solution to all of this.
 
Absolutely idiotic tackle by "world class" Romero. A second too late, and completely puts himself out of play, and they score because of it!

Romero must be the stupidest defender of all time. And then Vicario....
What's Kinsky got to do to get the spot?
 
I read a lot on this forum about how fans are entitled, how certain fans demand cups and a league finish but it's dawned on me that some of our fans are actually entitled when it comes to football style.

We moaned about Jose, Conte, some have said Frank etc ain't good enough to manage us, that Forest play rubbish football but I find their football entertaining. They defend well and attack with purpose and with pace and do it effectively.

Some would be happy with Ange philosophizing but serving up crap but unhappy with a pragmatic manager serving up wins. Seems to me that that's more entitled than wanting the team to do as well as possible.
 
You can see the players focusing on the line, not the marking again though. Then one player, VDV, goes that little too deep to play them onside and the ball is in our net.

It is shocking tactics from Ange, but probably worked in some inferior leagues.
 
This will be embarrassing, Forest are all over us and we are too easy to score against. Doesnt help when you have a muppet in goal, and play negative football I guess.

a lot of the saving tackles he's famous for are because he fudged his positioning up previously and didn't win a clearing header

It's a common theme with all our defenders though, they constantly lose attackers. That was really poor from VdV for the goal.
