You missed his goal line clearance. Which wasn’t a pass. Or an attacking threat.did he complete a pass today? genuinely didn't notice him at all
Alas, Tel will probably be out for a while for that non foul.Watching DCL's hold up play should embarrass Solanke.
Really we should consider Tel up front or just play a false 9
He's weak as tinkle. He's just a number out there. Offers absolutely nothing In terms of any sort of goal threat. I'd rather play with Van der Ven or Van Hecke up front!Seems to get worse with every game he plays. Wish we had a proper striker. Although not too many of them about unfortunately
Other than Haaland DCL is probably the best target man in the PL. I did suggest him as a possible freebie signing when he was leaving Everton but the usual suspects on here said he was crap etc.Watching DCL's hold up play should embarrass Solanke.

Think he's more of a CB nowYou missed his goal line clearance. Which wasn’t a pass. Or an attacking threat.

You do love to crow. You've also suggested Sterling and Grealish.Other than Haaland DCL is probably the best target man in the PL. I did suggest him as a possible freebie signing when he was leaving Everton but the usual suspects on here said he was crap etc.
I don’t remember suggesting Stirling. Was it on a loan at the end of a window a good few years ago where as usual we’d left ourselves short? You do love to crow. You've also suggested Sterling and Grealish.
DCL ain't all that anyway.
It’s why Everton let him goDCL has always been decent, issue is his fitness over the years
Here is the thing. If the correct lineup today was a front 3 of Kudus-Marmoush-Tel when Tel goes off he should have been replace by W.Barnett and not Solanke.
LWB clearly not trusted yet - which is understandable i guess given his age/experience. My view is that he has shown a confidence/belief in himself that we should run with - i don't think you can give someone that mentality and if they have it you should embrace it. Give him the minutes, give him the opportunity - if it doesn't work then you can take them away and work on things with the player knowing that they will get the opportunity and have seen they need to improve further still.
The first sub today I was fine with. I would’ve put LWB on as part of the second set of subs though instead of shunting Kudus over to the left. I would instead have left Tonali and Fernandes as a midfield 2 and got Kulu on as a 10LWB clearly not trusted yet - which is understandable i guess given his age/experience. Personally, I think LWB is ready, and our most potent attacker. The first sub today I was fine with. I would’ve put LWB on as part of the second set of subs though instead of shunting Kudus over to the right. I would instead have left Tonali and Fernandes as a midfield 2 and got Kulu on as a 10
Heard to disagree.Personally, I think LWB is ready, and our most potent attacker.
