I largely agree but we also as a minimum need to have an AM starting games. Whenever we haven't had one through gap between the midfield and attack just becomes a chasm. Yes we have a strong pivot but it lacks balance if there is no AM in front of it.

Yeah this would help but our AM options are both coming back from long term injuries - relying on them for such an important role was unwise

Very very poor this half.

However, the defeat is probably down to yet more cheating officials (I’m not referring to that as incompetence). It’s like last season all over again….

No, not for me. I think the ref had a terrible game, but we lost by just not really having much about us. We’ve looked utterly toothless, and just haven’t really ever got it moving today, it’s all felt very disconnected and poor.

The poorest day at the office possible, I don’t think a single player would score more than a six. Maybe Kinsky, but honestly just a really drab, poor performance today.

I don't think it's worth despair, this season was always going to have its ups and downs. Yes we played well in the last 5 or so games and won the last 3 but it was always going to be a season of performances that vary from here to there.
