Tosin Adarabioyo

Can only speak for me but I had a bit of negativity with his signing, underwhelmed I suppose, but that was mixed in with not being a fan of the Mudryk deal and they were lumped in together.

He’s was good on Tuesday, he won’t be first choice so might not start a game again now until near Christmas if VH isn’t injured. Bit more confidence that the drop off won’t be as stark as I’d feared.

Is it true he was a spurs fan growing up or just an internet rumour?

I've been very impressed by Tosin so far. I actually think it was a good move by RDZ to bring him in for this game, as clearly Cov had identified that V.Heck and VDV are both a bit weak to long balls against a physically strong CF. Tosin seemed to take control of that tactic last night.

But he also played the Romero role with the ball really well, walking out from defence and playing those tight through the lines balls.

V.Heck played the most flashy passes.

VdV just played the fast wide pass to Robertson...I wish he made more of the forward runs like he used to when he had the space opening up in front of him. Maybe he's worried about the hamstring.

Defensively it looks like VdV is the legs
Tosin is the muscle.
V.Heck....well is still the weakness...he needs to be the Boss, but he isn't there yet.

Will take time to settle the defense, but I like what Tosin brings to the team. Seems a very intelligent player for someone who's only played a couple of games in this new team.

I mostly agree with that, except to say i think Van Heck is our progressive passer from the back; he was the one with the better lofted and through-balls out of the 3. We need a Madison to take on more of that creative responsibility, but whilst that is still being worked out i suspect VH for all his defensive faults at times, will be very important in terms of how we attack/create.

I know, but....

He was doing that thing Romero used to do and standing still on the ball, then just edging forward slowly which was so strange to see, compared to Van Hecke and Senesi etc.

But he has had a good start. I think we are in a better place than we were before with Danso and Dragusin as back ups.

I've been catching bits of him in Italy, it's not looking good for a permanent transfer. He's culpable in so many of the goals Florentina concede. Not entirely his fault but he's always a step behind or just a bit rubbish when a goal goes in.
I saw highlights of some of his first games there and it looked horrific
