I am 59 & already served when I left I vowed to never take up arms again that hasn't changed. Nothing & I mean nothing could make me kill another human being
What if it was a Russki in a Gooner Shirt coming to murder you and yours? Asking for a mate...

Forgive me I’m not some expert of weaponry or modern warfare.

You asked a question. I am trying to understand it. And thanks for clarifying, I thought you were a regular consult for the DOD.

They launch a long range misile which hits an important piece of energy infustructure in Britain. Many lives are lost.

If it's nuclear, then don't worry, we're on an accelerated death march. I think the chances of any other type of strike are minimal. They have too many options before that which would cause much much worse casualties.

Are you enlisting? (In hypothetical world where you are younger)

No. Who is the fight against?
I am struggling to understand the root of the question TBH. Is it based on the Mi5 guy's warnings about attacks (which were non-traditional combat from what I could see)?

How about you? Are you (hypothetically) enlisting?

A tragic case in point. If you're this guy, in this situation, do you do the same?

I think one has to?

This prompted some searching. I had the marching photo and totally unbeknown to us his ID was in the back of the frame. I did a reverse image search and this 'team photo' popped up saying he was a 'Major' yet I can't see him in that photo at all. So either a mixup with the title or maybe he took the photo, as he used to dabble. Third cane from the middle looks a little like him but not really. Funny old game. He ran the local power station during the war and that, possibly health was why he stayed back.

I read that and there were certainly some minerals of varying types on display. That teacher was fighting to survive and protect her children. It was the 'fight' stage and she did whatever she could to survive. Incredible bravery, saving lives. For the guy who chanced upon the scene, had kids in there and risked his life to intervene, only admiration. I don't know the whole story but that would have been deeply traumatic.

The whole story is tragic. The shooter attacked a classroom for developmentally disabled kids. He had himself been a developmentally disabled student at the school before. The guy who intervened happened to be passing by, and yup, he is traumatized by it because the shooter was himself only 17.

Also, if I was passing any incident at my Child's school, I'm in a heartbeat, with whatever is lying about. I might consider my entry point but beyond that it is automatic.
