Maybe what he's been working on during the week will play out perfectly and it will be a nice surprise to see a complete performance, but I can't lie seeing Gallagher, Bergvall, Gray and Solanke all in the starting 11 I find a bit depressing.

I keep looking at that midfield 3 of Tonali with Bergvall and Gallagher.

The main thing I would do if I was making a team to face MNU is to put a man on Ratty Fernandes, as he is the key to nearly all of their success.

But we've just got Tonali to try to hold the midfield together, with Bergvall and Gallagher charging around all over the shop, leaving passing lanes open.

So Tonali will be over-run and we'll get torn apart, presumably.

What am I missing here, what is the RDZ masterplan to counter their midfield of Fernandes with Mainoo and Tielemans.

I want to say I’m surprised but there is so little elite strategic leadership being shown by the club that nothing is surprising me now.
