Its more likely that given the player departures there was no need to leave him off the squad. We might as well name him because no one else can be added at this point.

- Previous 11 had mixed success and limited long term growth -> proceeds to show Villa, Chelsea and fudging City (yeah, those last two haven't seen any success)
- Remaining sides are all (seemingly) sides post promotion from Championship

I thought we had named 17 overseas players as we included Simons in our list. Would we even be able to include any overseas free agent, regardless of who it is? I know UEFA had some rule about injured player swaps as we used it last year. I don't recall the PL having the equivalent rule.

I hope that a better option appears before we’re next able to register players in January than a forward with no EPL experience who’s just shy of his 34th birthday and has spent in excess of 300 days injured over the past 2 seasons.

I don't believe we could register him before January anyway but which point we should have a good read on what's happening fitness with Odobert and Simmons.
