At the end of the season, with the title decided, the clubs in the minor places often play weaker or experimental sides as finishing 2-4th makes no real difference, so second place may not be the club who deserves the vacated title. I'd rather see that if they got stripped of the title.

Part of winning anything is showing the bollox to get over the line and really perform when a title is within grasp. We didn't do that by finishing second so under no scenario have we justified being called champions. We wouldn't have gotten over the line, the line would have come to us which is no way to win.

Plus, when we do win the league, I'm planning on being drunk for about a month solid. You need to do that sort of thing at the time - not 9 years later.

It would be a tainted title imo, not as tainted as Chelsea, but still tainted.
With that in mind I'd celebrate Chelsea being stripped off it more than I would us being awarded it.
 
To me this is about a little more than the 2015/16 title: our Club has been bullied for years now (yellows, reds, pens for, pens against, VAR, refs ignoring offence after offence) and most of us has acknowledged that THFC needs to start speaking up for itself and stop accepting being handed the short straw every time. Poch has done what the club should have been doing for years: he’s called it out and made it clear that’s it’s unacceptable. Let’s hope that the club is inspired by this into growing a set and making a fuss the next time we are seen off.
 
The rest of the interview is much more interesting. About how he still loves Spurs. How he is still in touch with Levy. How eager he is, and how he was probably readying himself last season, to come back - even after relegation. I really hope that day will come that he is our manager again.
 
One of the biggest issues that meant we couldn't get over the line with Poch was that we faced teams with bigger squads and because of higher wages better players such as Eden Hazard. After a decent first 11 maybe at a push 15 players came slim pickings in that 2016/17 team. So yes we were disadvantaged by the behaviour of the likes of Cheat ski and City. But I can see why fans wouldn't want to receive the title retrospectively.

Every now and then he comes up with something to sweet talk us Spurs fans. I'm not buying his bollox.

He was the manager, he's not now... so move on and never go back.

He was happy for rules to be broken/bent at The WC
