Transfer thread

Has he? Why has he been?

I mean I don't rate him but the blokes been far form being a bellend
Literally all he does it give it the biggun on social media and even when we are at our worst. If he wasn’t a Spurs player 99% for the fan base would be taking the tinkle out of him.

There’s an extra bit to that post that wasn’t shown on X

“If they enter into an agreement between Spurs and Everton

I go back to my favourite team

My intention was to return to the place where I was very happy

But the negotiations were the way people wanted

And it won't be that way anymore Despite this tumult I have a contract with spurs”

And I will be at the club's disposal

Who would have thought we'd end the transfer window scrabbling around to loan 5th choice options? Quite like old times.

Indeed!!!!! But in balance the work we've done has been good IMO.
I think it was vital we got Moore a really good season loan as that will be far more beneficial than watching him be picked apart week after week when he makes a less than brilliant cameo.

I am utterly confused at if Vinai and Lange are for Spurs or against Spurs. For some reason, we seem weaker at the end of the window than at the beginning.

For me, the saddest thing of all was the way Romero had to go.
He became a firm focal point of fan anger, which IMO made it untennable that he would contemplate returning. I think he is a genuinely massive loss.
Other than that, perhaps Spence too, albeit again, I think that was decided a long time ago. Vuskovic was/is a gamble.
Other than that I think we've got some great players in.
Fernandes will prove to be a 'bargain' relatively speaking IMO.

Please indulge me. The manager has got the players he has wanted and got rid of fringe players and ones that wanted out. Is this about Spence leaving? Romero leaving? Or even some of the younger payers?

We’re not weaker
But we have holes and issues despite spending a fortune
We have gambled on GK… one that’s been earned imo
We have gambled on not wanting a CF…. For a team that didn’t score enough that’s a huge risk
We addressed midfield
We have a weaker defence that may… may suit the manager and the way we play but I suspect will be exploited a lot due its actual physical weakness
