Ah right, yea my post wasn’t super clear I guess. I was saying that some of the names being mentioned to come in and wanted by fans are no better than what we’ve got.

I think it was Raziel mentioning someone wanted a 1 in 5 striker and I was sharing those stats of Richy and Solanke to show their stats were better.

Because a lot of the names may only be marginally better. That’s what I was alluding to with my consecutive 17th comment. Yes it’s good that we’re looking to spend our way out of trouble, we’re just not shopping for the same players as Arsenal or Emirates Marketing Project. We’re trying to build our way back up.

Delap is a good player, wanted him but he decided to go to Chelsea and has wasted a year.
Has good pace, good shot, can hold up the ball and is also decent in the air.
Not bad attributes for a centre forward.

I knew it was one of them. Same difference. His judgment on younger players is not exactly 10/10. Both Ferguson and Delap are bullets dodged.
