With minimal goals in our likely wing pairing (Kudus and Savinho), we absolutely need a CF to do the Clive Allen role. Its why the links to elite finishers like Kroupi and Osimhen make so much sense

Gakpo is decent enough, but his strength is running with the ball and getting shots off. He's not someone to feed off all the service we're going to be providing though (Richy would still be the pick for that)

Gakpo is a LW who plays abit as CF, I hope he isnt our long term CF target TBH.

I think he is a much better LW than Savinho though
 
Still a few more to shift but we're doing well with the outgoings. Yes some fees could be higher but the value of actually getting them out the door and giving RDZ who he wants cannot be underestimated.

Really? Where? At a stretch cover for Porro but I suspect that RDZ sees that as an opportunity to give Archie game time this season ... so will not recruit any more in that position (also explains why we were so keen to get rid of Spence)

Ally G said something Udogie being out for an indeterminate length of time during the week - if that's the case then i think that puts paid to his time at the club. I like Robertson as cover but not as a long term starter so that's a starting position that needs addressing along with cover for RB now we have sold Spence.

The supposed revamp of the defence amounts to replacing Romero as a starter and then changing out Dragusin & Davies as back ups.
 
We are not going to get a quality LB this year unless we sell Udogie - which looks unlikely at this stage. Guess Robbo will have to play more than we expected and explains why Souza's exit rumours have completely died down.
