World Cup 2026: Mexico, USA and Canada

Yeah that cable thing was weird. I didn't see it at the time, but VAR or that ball sensor surely should've spotted it. Which would've meant a dropped ball and still 1-0. Sensor didn't record anything, and another camera angle is inconclusive, so possibly it didn't.

Congrats to England. The better team lost, as said all the English blokes in the bar where we were sat. About 100 English fans and around 20 Norwegians. Brilliant atmosphere throughout the game.
And once again, the smaller nation got royally screwed by VAR.
And even more of a scandal, just before the 2nd goal for England, Nyland punts it out, and the ball hit a wire that holds that camera floating over the pitch! Could clearly see the ball just suddenly slowing down mid air, and land 10 meters short of where it should!! Ball should have been dropped, as is the rule when the ball hits an object not part of the pitch! It's absolutely mind blowing that such a thing happens in the world cup! Didn't need a sensor to monitor that, it was clearly visible in the footage from fox.

Haha.

The ball didn't really change direction in any meaningful way, so I'm not sure why people are bothered making such a mess out of it. If anything, it's a shame we got that goal disallowed for Anderson obviously diving like a little pussy.
