Eli Junior Kroupi

Makes sense for a manager who is barely never around for more than two seasons:)
Getting a bit tired of this trope... he is immensely demanding and requires full support. The reason he left Brighton was because he was not willing to continue in a team whose raison d'etre was selling players.

This is his first truly big club and I am pretty sure he will stay much longer if he is successful and feels backed by the club - as is clearly the case.

Let's hope so....I'm fully behind him.

Don't think tropes can be based on something that's factual....could be wrong?

I'm with you on that - most people want stability in their working life and football managers are no different with the obvious exception that sackings yield a pile of cash, which doesn't happen in civvie street.

Worthy of comment also is that buying these sorts of players means a new manager in two years time, cut from the poch mould wouldn't need the quality upgrade that were having to do right now.

If we start shopping at the top table there's a raft of managers who could make us successful. Jose and Conte wanted this approach for a start....

I know many didn’t like conte, I for one valued his work, his outburst, and respect his record.

If he was backed like this as then manager we wouldn’t be talking about spurs only winning a ropey league and I think Kane would still be here … in my honest opinion

i love these egoistic OCD managers - never a dull moment and you can be certain the players will be pushed hard. while he was defensive, conteball was still so much better than whatever that came after.

People just didn’t take to him for no reason, he got us in the top four and I loved pipping arsenal to it. Yes he wanted his own players, but it’s complete polar now with RDZ where we are not questioning that he’s a manager who is demanding.

But let’s move on…. Jr Kroupi would be a good signing but again just dubious a little about being overrated.

I’m excited about Fernandes the most out of the current signings, including Tonali.
